Scattering to and fro.
The pieces of my life they go,
Into my Father’s hand.
Gently sifting through my pain,
My Savior takes a stand,
His love so grand,
Removes my guilt and shame.
He listens to my cries for help,
Then wipes away my tears.
He said, I have held on to them,
For far to many years.
My Savior knows what’s best for me,
He doesn’t leave me void.
He fills me with His love and peace,
For all the world to see.
His words so softly spoken,
Are gentle to my ears.
My Savior has forever taken,
My pain from all those years.
These grains of sand,
Are who I am.
This long and winding beach,
The one my Savior wrote upon,
When He came to preach.
He uses me to show the world,
His love can still restore.
Loneliness and sorrow,
Are welcome here no more!
Let the Father sift the sand,
Of your life you hold so dear.
What you learn is what He’ll use,
For many, many years.
Others will see His Love,
His power to restore.
He is the one who gave us life....
LOVE HIM FOREVERMORE.
